I try to watch every Quentin Tarantino movie, so yes I watched Inglourious basterds last night. But it proved what I suspected recently about him: he's losing his touch. I had the horrible experience to watch "Hell ride" and it was one of the worst movies I ever saw, but I thought "hey, that's a one time mistake maybe?" but yeah... it isn't.

Death proof wasn't one of his best movies either. (The first part was so boring that I almost went asleep. The only good part was the end and Kurt Russel himself, he's so fine) So yeah, since Kill Bill he's going slowly down and low.

The problem with Inglourious basterds were the bad dialogues (I know most of them were on purpose, but STILL, they were terrible to look at), bad acting (I'm looking at you Brad Pitt, you were such a horror to look/listen at. Don't care if it was on purpose), too silly stupid plot, etc. (I know it's some sort of remake, so ok)

The idea that Hitler would go to a little cinema with only a few guards is so hilariously wrong that even the "on purpose silly" excuse isn't good enough. Come on, Hitler wasn't stupid, he was smart. I don't care if you hate him, you can't deny he was intelligent. (I don't like him, mind you, he did horrible things and I don't support any of it)

Anyway I actually supported the nazis in this movie. (While in real life I don't. Don't accuse me for being a neo-nazi, retards) Christopher Waltz certainly, he saved that entire movie with his great acting and great character. Although they screwed up the ending, suddenly he was a full on retard while in the beginning he was a genius!

I love him, Colonol Landa was teh sex. Although I'm biased because I love those SS costumes, grr germans had great costumes, nobody can deny that!

Ok, I didn't try to take this movie serious, but some mistakes (on purpose or not) just were too unacceptable. And Eli Roth looked so weird. His long eyelashes made me uneasy, scratch that, his entire face XD (ok that hasn't anything to do with the movie but ok)

Again for those who can't read well: I don't support Hitler or Nazi's. I may like the costumes and am fascinated by their history, but THAT'S IT. I find history interesting entirely. Mao for instance has murdered more people than Hitler, but there's no taboo about him. Weird. Don't forget Stalin, he was one hell of a bastard too! No taboo over him either.

Anyway, I HATE TABOO'S!

Edit: I also would like to mention that I hated how those "Basterds" were all "all German soldiers are bad and we need to kill them all". Because actually many people believe this!

My over-grandfather was in the German army AGAINST his will. He didn't support Hitler, hated him... what ended up in him being send to fight in Russia as punishment, because he had been saying wrong things about Hitler. He never came back, probably was killed and buried in a mass grave over there. My grandmother only knew off the letters he still had send to his parents which stated that he was wounded.
